Thank you for pledging to volunteer your time! When we all come together to help those in need, we can help bring an end to the homelessness crisis in Seattle.

Some ideas of how you can serve during this time:

Host a fundraiser: Creating a fundraiser is a fun and easy way to support people and issues you’re passionate about. It only takes a few minutes to set up a campaign. Simply share your name, photo, and a few words about why these issues are important to you. That’s all it takes for you to start raising money to help people in need of life-changing hope.

Bring-A-Meal (BAM): While we cannot allow volunteers to serve and/or use our onsite kitchens to prepare meals, we still need your help to supply food to our neighbors experiencing homelessness and hunger. This is a great opportunity for groups to meet safely and prepare a meal together to be delivered at one of our Mission facilities.

Join a prayer meeting: Join a prayer team of 5-6 volunteers, make new friends, and serve in an amazing and vital way as you hear about and pray for the Mission, the Church, the nation, the world, and each other. Find a date and time that work, and sign up. It’s that easy. Can’t find a time that works? Get in touch with Glenn — golson@ugm.org and we’ll see about getting a new prayer team started!

Host a drive: A drive makes a big impact. And it's a great way to build community through the shared joy of giving with your friends, workplace, or church - even during a COVID time. 

Find an organization and a cause that you're passionate about: We want you to feel inspired to help those experiencing homeless by volunteering at any Seattle area non-profit. Find something meaningful to you and go for it!

It takes more than the Mission. It takes the whole community.
