Volunteer
How you can best help the Mission during this time:
- Support the Mission financially. Please prayerfully consider how you can support or have others support the Mission so that our homeless neighbors will know that they’re valued and they’re loved, by us, by you, and by God, no matter their circumstances:
- Please consider a monthly gift that that will help today and throughout the crisis. A gift of $39 provides one night of shelter and services.
- Set up a fundraiser or fundraising page and ask your community and friends to set up one for the Mission too. As one of our greatest ambassadors, you know the impact when the community responds.
- Pray: Pray for the continued protection of our amazing staff who continue to labor selflessly and lovingly. Pray for the Mission and for wisdom as we seek new ways to serve while adhering to the ever-changing guidelines. Pray for the protection of our homeless neighbors. Pray that we would keep our eyes on Jesus, and not look at the winds swirling around us.

New volunteers
Take a few moments to review the Mission’s Volunteer Handbook. It helps to know our history, mission, and some basic dos and don’ts — like what kind of shoes are okay in the kitchen — to help have a fun and rewarding experience.
Next, create an account using our volunteer website. You’ll be asked to choose a username and password.
Please wait for 1-2 business days for your background check to be approved — you will receive a confirmation email once this has occurred, at which point you can jump right in and lend a hand! Sign up to volunteer now.
Want to know more before jumping in? Sign up for our New Volunteer Orientation. This class is designed for volunteers who have recently become or are interested in becoming a volunteer. You'll enjoy light refreshments while we share volunteer opportunities, inform you about homelessness, and equip you for volunteer service. We look forward to meeting you!
