Community, Events, Homelessness
I wanted to share an encouraging update with you...
In the past few days, we saw people experiencing homelessness at a greater risk of dehydration, heat exhaustion, and heatstroke.
Thanks to generous supporters like you, we went into action with a hydration station and every Search & Rescue vehicle we have — offering our homeless neighbors water, food, sunscreen, lifesaving care, and the chance to get off the streets.
Thank you for helping save lives!
On Monday and Tuesday of this week, we served 735 people at our hydration station with 890 water bottles. More homeless neighbors were served on the street through our Outreach and Search & Rescue teams.
Serving our homeless neighbors gives us a personal view on what it's like to get a cold cup of water and care after a brutal day of life on the streets.
This lifesaving work done through the Mission is made possible by compassionate people like you, showing God's love for our neighbors who are lost in poverty, homelessness, and addiction.
Thank you for your partnership!
