Here, we serve free meals to anyone who comes in. Men may stay overnight, while women and children are directed to other Mission facilities. Many who come eventually enter one of our recovery programs.
KentHOPE Women's Emergency Shelter
KentHOPE, a ministry of the Mission, brings together local non-profits, neighbors, businesses, and churches to provide emergency meals and shelter to homeless women and their children.
Our Post-Hospital Recovery Program offers extended medical recovery care to men and women with severe medical issues, giving them a safe place to recover from accidents, illnesses, or operations, as they regain their health.
The Mission provides services in Spanish, including English as a Second Language Classes, Chapel, Counseling, and Immigration and Legal Assistance.
Our Prison Ministry brings hope to prisoners by leading Bible studies, holding church services, teaching life skills, providing counseling, providing Christmas and birthday gifts for their children, and more.
Our Dental Clinic helps restore dignity and self-confidence for people by providing basic dental services and vital restorative care. A new smile reflects the changes God is working in their lives.
The Mission provides legal services to men and women trapped in homelessness. We help people with court fines, debts, child custody and visitation issues, criminal warrants, and more.
Men's Recovery Program
Our Men’s Recovery Program offers counseling, biblical teaching, and education to help men overcome addiction and live thriving lives.
Women's Recovery Program
Our Women’s Recovery Program helps women overcome past abuse and addiction by finding freedom and new life in Christ.
We provide the women with affordable housing for up to two years, resources, case management, counseling, encouragement, and more as they move into the thriving lives God wants for them.
We offer educational opportunities, including job skills, computer training, and more for people in recovery to help equip them with knowledge and tools to help them find jobs and/or further their education after graduation.
The Mission’s Outreach Team acts as first responders, working closely with city government and other organizations to deliver food and other essentials, help people relocate, transport people to shelters, and more.
Search + Rescue
Every night, Search + Rescue vans drive to the darkest places throughout the region to hand out life-saving supplies, care, smiles, and friendly conversations to homeless men and women.
Our mobile shower trailer goes out to homeless camps and offers hot showers, complete with shampoo and clean towels.
