An exciting thing happened this weekend at Seattle's Union Gospel Mission! Last Saturday, Seahawk players Shaun Alexander, Trent Dilfer and Heath Evans hosted Mission clients, staff and guests for a showing of 'The Passion of the Christ'. The players bought three showings at a downtown Seattle theatre and then challenged the Mission to fill the seats. Close to 700 low-income and homeless individuals were able to watch the movie and hear testimonies from the players - an experience they will never forget. 'I don't know all of you in this room, but I love you,' said Alexander. 'I want everyone to be blessed.' We'd like to extend a big thank you to the Seahawk players who hosted this event and to encourage all of you who partner with us to continue to reach out to those in our community that are often overlooked - thank you for all you do!
