We're Having a Birthday Party!
On Thursday, April 21st we will be honoring homeless men and women in our community with a ‘Birthday Party’, even if their true birthday is in a different month. Everyone deserves to be remembered with a special day! The Mission will be serving lunch, with cake and ice cream for dessert. Each guest will be given a small birthday gift after lunch.

The party will be held at our Men’s Shelter, located in Pioneer Square, at 318 2nd Ave Extension South. (MAP) Lunch will be served between 11:00am-12:30pm.

You can help us by sending a general birthday card to be given to any of our birthday guests, by donating any of the suggested items below or by volunteering your time. Please contact Polly at 206.723.0767 x168 if you would like to participate in any way.

We are collecting the following items:
Devotionals – (350 of the same kind with 50 in Spanish)
Athletic/Tube socks – one size fits all
Travel size lotion
Breath mints – Tic Tacs, Altoids
Individually bagged:

  • Nuts – peanuts, mixed etc. – not in shells
  • Nutrition/Energy bars - Nature Valley, Luna etc.
  • Dried fruit or Fruit roll ups
  • Cheese and crackers
  • Peanut butter and crackers
  • Trail mix

The Mission would like to thank Campbell Nelson Nissan for donating all the cakes for this year's party.
