On November 16th, Smooth Jazz listeners called in and pledged over 16,000 meals and care for our community’s homeless and hurting.

The Mission would like to thank everyone that participated in the Hunger to Hope campaign. This holiday season men, women and children will enter the doors of the Mission and find hope.

Big thanks to 98.9 Smooth Jazz staff for their efforts in bringing hope to individuals this Thanksgiving.

All of us at 98.9 Smooth Jazz KWJZ feel very proud to help Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission in their efforts to put people's lives back on track. This is a fabulous way for our listeners to hear the stories of individuals who have had their hope and faith returned by the kindness of strangers and gives them a way to help directly.
