AIG Raises Nearly $10,000

AIG hosted a fundraising event “Hike For The Homeless” on July 16th , 2004. This idea was conceived of by the branch manager, Leslie Conti, who wanted to get AIG involved with a non-profit serving the local community. She has a heart to reach out to homeless individuals and set a goal of raising $10,000 for Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission.

World renown Mountaineer, Ed Viesturs, lead 26 climbers onto a challenging climb on Mt. Rainier. The climbers consisted of insurance brokers, AIG’s clients and AIG employees. They started their climb from Paradise lodge (approx. 5400 ft. and made their way to Camp Muir (approx. 10,188 ft).

Thanks to AIG and their corporate partners, they raised nearly $10,000 to support the homeless in our community!
