"They don't have the last word"

Ann grew up in a home full of alcohol and abuse. Then she began falling for abusive men. One of them almost killed her. She was successful in sales and in small business. But when she was introduced to cocaine, things spun crazily out of control.

Then she got cancer — in her stomach, lungs, uterus and intestines. She had surgery after surgery to no avail. On her death bed with a staph infection, pneumonia and cancer, she saw a bright light and heard God say, "They don't have the last word." Immediately the doctors noticed a change. They informed her that a miracle had taken place. A week later, Ann walked out of the hospital — cancer-free.

Though God delivered her from sickness, she still had the cancer of addiction in her soul. Then she came to the Mission where she was provided the recovery help she needed to kick the drugs for good. But Ann is most thankful for her new relationship with God. Now, this grateful woman doesn't just have her life back she has life to the fullest.

Give a gift today to help women like Ann turn their lives around.
