King’s Kids keep tradition alive

King’s Elementary students came with bags of food in their hands and smiles on their faces – knowing that they are doing something good; something they felt God had called them to do.

It is a tradition! Since the mid-1970’s, King’s Elementary students have been helping homeless men, women and children in our community through their annual food drive. At this year’s event, students, faculty and staff collected over 500 pounds of food. They also generated a cash donation of $900 from the school store, private gifts, and the fourth grader’s Marketplace project!

Thank you students, staff and faculty at King’s Elementary!

For more information on how you can sponsor a food drive to benefit homeless people in King County, please email or call Linda at 206.723.0767 x118.
