Emergency food & shelter

No one should go to sleep cold or hungry. But, every day thousands do.

These are real people:

  • A minimum wage worker who didn't have enough money to pay rent and was evicted.
  • A young woman who has to dig through dumpsters to survive.
  • The mom and kids who flee to the streets to escape an abusive husband and dad.

Coming into the shelter gives them the chance to fill their stomachs with a solid meal or sleep in a warm bed for the first time in weeks.

Rekindling hope with food and warm bed

We serve 2,000 meals to men, women and children every day. 241 men, women and their children fill our emergency shelters every night.

These basic needs must be satisfied before someone can imagine a different life. God uses simple moments at the Mission to redirect entire lives.

Check below to see where people can currently get meals and find shelter. These efforts are just a small part of our initiatives to fight hunger and homelessness.
