Jeff Lilley — President

Jeff leads the Mission with a bold vision for Seattle and King County. He wants to see the broken hearts of the poor and homeless are healed. His relentless creativity energizes his team to accomplish this vision.
Before coming to the Mission in 2010, Jeff was the Executive Director of Hume Lake Christian Camps in California. He managed a budget of $18 million and reached 45,000 campers each year.
Dave Mitchell — Chief Operating Officer

Dave leads teams to make the Mission's bold vision a reality through strategic planning, short-term and long-term goal setting, evaluation and more. The Mission is well prepared to meet increasing community needs with his oversight.
Dave brings a strong professional background to his work at the Mission. He served as the CEO of a software company for 11 years. He also spent 20 years working for Herman Miller. He's a long-time Young Life volunteer, forum leader with C3 Leaders, and Kent Rotary member.
Gary Fast — Senior Vice President

Gary is passionate about helping men and women find freedom from addiction. He oversees all of the Mission's addiction recovery programs. He also heads up any special projects. Gary's leadership has been instrumental as the Mission expands outside of downtown Seattle.
Gary has been on staff with the Mission since 1988. He has broad experience in almost every area of the Mission.
John G. Bang, CPA — Vice President of Accounting and Finance

John's a details man. That's why we can always trust that our finances are in order. He manages a team that ensures donations, bills and payroll are always handled in an efficient and professional manner.
John has 30 years of accounting experience with local and international CPA firms. Many of his clients were nonprofits, making the transition to the Mission a smooth one.
Craig Carpenter — Vice President of Development

Craig shares Seattle's Union Gospel Mission's story with the public. He has two goals: raising awareness and raising funds. He manages all fundraising, marketing, volunteer recruitment and church involvement.
He has spent his career in marketing and advertising. Advertising agencies, retail chains, and a direct response agency working exclusively with Christian nonprofit agencies have all trusted Craig to lead marketing efforts.
Marvin Gray — Vice President of Outreach Ministries

Marvin oversees the Mission's hands-on ministries. His team runs programs for at-risk youth, prisoners and seniors. He also oversees the work of the legal and dental clinics
Before coming to the Mission, Marvin served as a Youth Outreach Worker at Rainier Avenue Church for 16 years, as well as spending 3 years as a manager with a local company.
Julie Hong — Vice President of Human Resources

Julie provides essential skills and experience in human resources as the Mission grows. She guides the Mission's staffing, employee development and benefits strategies.
Julie understands how to care for the staff of a growing organization. She worked in human resources for a national telecommunications company for 5 years before joining the Mission.
