Kathy's Story

"Before I came to the Mission, I was homeless . . . not really knowing where my next meal would come from."

"The Mission staff welcomed me with open arms. Which was really surprising because I was scared."

Kathy struggled with addiction since she was just a little girl of 10. She became hardened through the drinking and drugs. Add to that a mental health condition, and Kathy was like a frightened animal -- trapped, lashing out at everyone around her.

You would never guess today where Kathy has been. Through her newfound faith and the help she received at the Mission, Kathy is a whole new woman. Her goal now is to help others through their addictions.
